Variables in Experiments

We learned the difference between independent and dependent variables with our penny and water experiment.  The dependent variable in this experiment was the number of drops of liquid a coin could hold. We changed some of the independent variables up to see how they would affect dependent variable. We tried different coins (instead of a penny we used dimes, quarters, and nickels), different liquids (oil or vinegar), and smaller droppers.
