We learned all about the nervous system this week. We found out that there are little things called neurons in our body that act as messengers to and from the brain and the rest of our body. We also learned that there are different lobes of the brain that are responsible for specific tasks. The frontal lobe is for problem solving and emotions, the parietal lobe is for touch and temperature, the occipital lobe is for sight, and the temporal lobes are for hearing. We made a brain model out of play dough to show the different parts of our brain.
