OREO Phases of the Moon

We learned about how our moon orbits the Earth, and the many phases of the moon.

Here’s a fun video on, our favorite, Flocabulary!

What’s a good way to make a model of the moon’s phases?  With our Oreos , of course! These moons look delicious 🙂

OREO Project

Our class participated in the O.R.E.O. You can click HERE to see the map of participants and this year’s average (it updates every few days).

Spirit Week

This week is Spirit Week and we have been having lots of fun dressing up, and seeing the teachers dressed up in crazy outfits.  Monday was “Disney Day”, Tuesday was “Super School Spirit Day”, Wednesday was “Twin Day”, Thursday was “Decade Day” and Friday is “NFL” day.  We even had a super fun Pep Rally on Tuesday!  Sadly, Ms. Pjura forgot to take pictures 🙁

Here are pictures of us decorating our door for the door decorating contest.  Our team was the Seattle Seahawks.  Any Seahawks fan out there??
